HEPAC hosts shorts term (1-3 month) volunteer internships. Participants may choose to commute across the border everyday or stay onsite for the duration of the internship. Interns should possess basic Spanish conversation skills. Free lodging and two meals a day is provided for interns who live on-site.
Internships include (but are not limited to) the following:
- English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher
- Art, music, or other enrichment classes
- Community garden project
- Recreation leader (soccer, yoga, karate, dance, etc.)
Upon completion of the internship program, participants will receive a certificate and letter of recommendation from the Friends of HEPAC board.
